Consider Resolution 11 -22, Approving
Off -Sale Intoxicating Liquor and Tobacco
License KLVZ Corporation (Eagle Liquor)
Simple Majority (3/5 Vote Required)
The former Eagle Liquor and Tobacco located at 730 Apollo Drive is being proposed to
re -open. An application for an off -sale liquor license and tobacco sales license has
been submitted by KLVZ Corporation. The applications are complete, the related fees
have been paid and insurance information has been provided to the City as required. In
addition, the Lino Lakes Police Department has conducted the required background
investigation on the applicant and reports no information that would prevent issuance of
a liquor license.
In accordance with the Lino Lakes Code of Ordinances, Section 701 relating to Liquor
Licensing, the application requires approval by the City Council. The code also requires
that opportunity shall be given to any person to be heard for or against the granting of
the license. The council may then, in its discretion, grant or refuse the application. The
applicant, Mr. Stanislav Sidorenko, will be present at the council meeting.
If local approval is granted, the application for an off -sale license will be forwarded to
the Minnesota Alcohol & Gambling Enforcement Division for review.
The applicant is aware that approval is subject to all the provisions and conditions of the
laws of the city, state and federal government.
