CITY OF LINO LAKES
RESOLUTION NO. 11- 74
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES
AGREEMENT FOR ELECTRICAL INSPECTIONS.
Whereas, new electrical installations for most construction, remodeling,
replacement or repair must be inspected for compliance with state Electrical Code
standards; and
Whereas, prior to July 1, 2011 the State of Minnesota provided electrical permits
and inspections in accordance with code requirements; and
Whereas, no inspections are being completed by the state until the Department
of Labor and Industry is funded for the 2011 fiscal year by legislative enactment of a
state budget; and
• Whereas, to avoid construction project delays the City Council has adopted an
emergency ordinance to provide for electrical permits and inspections
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LINO LAKES, MINNESOTA:
Hereby approves the execution of a professional service agreement between the
City and Dave Kichler Inspections and the Mayor and Clerk are authorized to execute
the agreement on behalf of the City pending final review by the City Attorney.

Adopted by the Lino Lakes City Council this 11 day of July2011.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Council
Member Rafferty and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor
thereof: Roeser, Rafferty, O'Donnell, Reinert
