ATTACHMENT A, RESOLUTION 11 -102
CITY OF LINO LAKES
COUNTY OF ANOKA
SUMMARY OF ORDINANCE NO. 20 -11
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 213.07 OF THE LINO LAKES CODE OF
ORDINANCES REGARDING UNCLAIMED PROPERTY
The purpose of amending Section 213.07 within this Chapter is to allow the disposal of
unclaimed property in a manner that provides access to the public with a proper notice
but allows the use of an electronic medium and does not limit sales to public auctions
held twice a year. The change will allow for quicker sale of property thus reducing
storage requirements and associated issues.
Passed by the Lino Lakes City Council on October 10th, 2011.
This is a summary of the adopted ordinance. A full printed copy of the ordinance is
available at City Hall.
