CITY OF LINO LAKES
RESOLUTION NO. 11 -133
RESOLUTION APPROVING TRANSFERS TO STREET
RECONSTRUCTION FUND
WHEREAS, the General Operating Fund for the City of Lino Lakes ended the
year in 2010 with a surplus, and,
WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to use a portion of the prior year operating
surplus to fund future road reconstruction.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Lino Lakes City Council that the
following transfer is hereby approved:
From
General Fund
To Amount
Street Reconstruction Fund $100,000.00
Adopted by the Lino Lakes City Council this 12th day of December, 2011.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by
Council Member Gallup and upon vote being taken thereon, the following
voted in favor thereof:
Roeser, Gallup, O'Donnel, Rafferty, Reinert
The following voted against same:
none

TOPIC Consideration of Resolution No. 11 -133 Approving Transfer to the
Street Reconstruction Fund

BACKGROUND
The City Council has decided to dedicate a portion of the 2010 General Fund operating surplus
toward future street reconstruction. Staff has prepared Resolution No. 11 -133 which approves the
transfer of $100,000 to the Street Reconstruction fund. Staff recommends approval of this
resolution.
OPTIONS.
1. Approve Resolution No. 11 -133.
2. Refer to Staff for further review.
