RESOLUTION NO. 05 -06
RESOLUTION APPROVING CIRCLE -LEX LIONS REQUEST
TO CONDUCT OFF -SITE GAMBLING
WHEREAS, Minnesota State Statute, Section 349 requires organizations to be licensed
by the Charitable Gambling Control Board, and
WHEREAS, the Circle -Lex Lions Club has acquired said license, and
WHEREAS, the Circle -Lex Lions Club has submitted an application to hold its annual
off -site gambling activity at St. Joseph Catholic Church on April 9, 2005, and
WHEREAS, the Minnesota Gambling Control Board requires the City of Lino Lakes
approve or deny this application by resolution, and
WHEREAS, the Circle -Lex Lions Club is in compliance with City ordinance,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Lino Lakes City Council hereby
approves the off -site gambling activities of the Circle -Lex Lions Club being conducted at
St. Joseph Catholic Church, 171 Elm Street.
Adopted by the Lino Lakes City Council this 14th day of February, 2005
