HomeMy WebLinkAbout2005-160 Council ResolutionVillage No. 4 Final Plat 1111 Page 2 CITY OF LINO LAKES RESOLUTION NO. 05-160 RESOLUTION APPROVING THE FINAL PLAT FOR VILLAGE NO. 4 WHEREAS, a request has been submitted to the City for the approval of a final plat, and WHEREAS, review and approvals of plats are governed by state statutes and City ordinances, and WHEREAS, the preliminary plat for Village No. 4 was approved with Resolution 04 -33 by the City Council on March 14, 2005 with conditions, and WHEREAS, the final plat for Village No. 4 complies with City requirements and the conditions of Resolution 04 -33 have been satisfied. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes hereby approves the final plat for Village No. 4. Adopted by the Lino Lakes City Council this 24th day of October, 2005. BACKGROUND Hartford Development, Inc. has submitted the final plat for Village No. 4, which encompasses Outlots A, and E of Village No. 3. The submitted plat depicts 7 lots and three outlots. Block 1 will consist of four lots. Lot 1 is intended for the apartment/retail building, and Lot 4 is intended for the hotel (both buildings are a part of this agenda). Lot 2 and 3 (and Outlot A) are intended for future buildings. Block 2 will consist of three lots. Lot 1 is intended for the shared parking area, Lot 2 is intended for Betty's Pies, and lot 3 is intended for a future user. Two outlots are included that will also be for future uses. The title commitment for the property and final plat were forwarded to the City Attorney for review and are acceptable. PLANNING AND ZONING BOARD The Planning and Zoning Board reviewed this project at the October 12, 2005 regular meeting, recommending approval subject to the conditions included in this staff report. OPTIONS. 1. Adopt Resolution 05 -160, approving the final plat for The Village No.4 2. Return to staff with direction. RECOMMENDATION The final plat significantly conforms to the Land Use and Regulating Plans of the Lino Lakes Town Center Design & Development Guide, therefore staff is recommending approval.
