RESOLUTION NO. 05 -166
RESOLUTION APPROVING CHANGE ORDER NO. 2 AND PAYMENT NO. 6 (FINAL)
FOR THE WEST SHADOW PONDS UTILITY AND STREET IMPROVEMENTS
WHEREAS, the construction of the West Shadow Ponds Utility and Street
Improvements, including Change Order No. 2 has been completed by
Richard Knutson, Inc.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LINO LAKES, MINNESOTA:
Payment Number 6 (Final) in the increased amount of $15,363.84 and Change
Order No. 2 (Compensating) is approved for a total contract amount of
$346,114.84.
Adopted by the City Council this 24th day of October, 2005.

6 (Final), West Shadow Ponds Utility and Street Improvements
VOTE REQUIRED: 3/5 Vote Required
BACKGROUND:
The contractor for the West Shadow Ponds Utility and Street Improvements project,
Richard Knutson, Inc. is requesting City approval of Payment No. 6 (Final) in the
amount of $20,400.00. A copy of the final payment is attached. The contractor has
satisfactorily completed all work and has provided all necessary documentation.
The current contract amount was $338,751.00 and the final contract amount is
$346,114.84. Change Order No. 2 is a compensating change order which balances out
the contract.
OPTIONS:
1. Return to staff for further review.
2. Approve Resolution 05 -166 Approving Change Order No. 2 and Payment No. 6
(Final) for the West Shadow Ponds Utility and Street Improvements.
RECOMMENDATION:
Option No. 2 - Staff recommends that Resolution 05 -166 be approved.
