Aerial Mapping

Council Member e hr4r introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption:
CITY OF LINO LAKES
RESOLUTION NO. 06 -01
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PHOTOGRAMMETRIC MAPPING SERVICES
WHEREAS, the City is proposing to obtain Photogrammetric Mapping Services; and
WHEREAS, said mapping services will aid the City in performing engineering and
planning studies as well as storm water management modeling; and
WHEREAS, Markhurd has submitted a proposal and contract to provide such services
to the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LINO LAKES, MINNESOTA:
1. That the contract with MarkHurd for Photogrammetric Mapping Services is hereby
approved.

Member Stalti and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor

Consideration of Resolution No. 06 -01,
Authorizing Photogrammetric Mapping
Services
ACTION REQUIRED: Simple Majority
BACKGROUND
Included in the engineering budget for 2006 are professional services for aerial mapping
and development of 2 foot contours of the City. The mapping, based on aerial
photography, will provide invaluable information for general engineering and planning
studies as well as storm water management modeling.
The City has received a proposal from MarkHurd to provide this service in the amount of
$50,750. The cost of the services is funded from the Surface Water Management Fund
and Aerial Mapping fees collected from development projects.
RECOMMENDATION
Staff is recommending approval of Resolution No. 06 -01.
