RESOLUTION NO. 06 -55
APPROVING VFW POST #6583 APPLICATION FOR A
1 TO 4 DAY TEMPORARY ON -SALE LIQUOR LICENSE
WHEREAS, Minnesota Statute, Section 340, allows the city council to issue a
temporary on -sale liquor license to a non - profit organization in connection with a social
event sponsored by the licensee and held within the city limits; and
WHEREAS, VFW Post #6583 has submitted an application to hold a fundraising event
at their facility at 7868 Lake Drive on May 19, 2006; and
WHEREAS, VFW Poast #6583 has paid the required fee, and
WHEREAS, the City of Lino Lakes has conducted an investigation of the applicants, and
WHEREAS, the Alcohol & Gambling Enforcement Division requires the application be
• approved by the City of Lino Lakes City Council before submitting for approval to the
liquor control board.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Lino Lakes City Council hereby
approves the request of VFW Post #6583 for a temporary on -sale liquor license.
