HomeMy WebLinkAbout2006-110 Council ResolutionCouncil MemberS}Dtt.- introduced the following resolution and moved 11 its adoption: • CITY OF LINO LAKES COUNTY OF ANOKA RESOLUTION NO. 06-110 APPROVING ISSUANCE OF A PEDDLER/TRANSIENT MERCHANT LICENSE TO FIRSTLINE SECURITY SYSTEMS WHEREAS, Ryan and Carrie Christensen representing Firstline (a company promoting and selling security systems) have submitted an application for a peddler's license to the city clerk's office; and WHEREAS, the applicants have complied with all of the provisions of Chapter 612 of the Lino Lakes City Code for obtaining a license for a profit business; and WHEREAS, the Lino Lakes Police Department has completed the required background investigations and has found no reason to deny the license; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LINO LAKES, MINNESOTA: The City of Lino Lakes hereby adopts Resolution No. 06 -110 approving issuance of a peddler's license to Carrie and Ryan Christensen representing Firstline, to be effective for a six month period commencing upon passage of this resolution. Upon receipt of the application, personal history forms for both the applicants were forwarded to the Police Department for a background check. The department reported that their investigation found no cause to deny the license. The permit application and background information are on file in the city clerk's office. If issued, the license would be in place for a period of six months. OPTIONS: 1. Approve Resolution No. 06 -110, approving the issuance of a Peddler/Transient Merchant license to Ryan and Carrie Christensen 2. Deny approval of Resolution
