moved its adoption:
CITY OF LINO LAKES
RESOLUTION NO. 06 -138
APPROVING ISSUANCE OF NEW OFF -SALE LIQUOR AND TOBACCO
LICENSE FOR BROWNSTONE LIQUORS, INC. AT 709 APOLLO DRIVE
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes met at its regularly
scheduled meeting on August 28, 2006, and;
WHEREAS, the Lino Lakes City Council discussed approval of a new off -sale
liquor license and tobacco license for Brownstone Liquors, Inc., d /b /a MGM
Wines & Spirits to be located at 709 Apollo Drive, and;
WHEREAS, the Police Department of the City of Lino Lakes has conducted an
investigation of the applicants, and;
WHEREAS, Brownstone Liquors, Inc. is in compliance with City Code Section
701 concerning Liquor Licensing and Section 602 concerning Cigarette Sales,
and qualifies for said licenses and;
• WHEREAS, the applicant has provided proof of insurance as required and paid
the necessary fees;

NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Lino
Lakes hereby approves a new off -sale liquor license and tobacco license for
Brownstone Liquors, Inc. subject to all the fees, provisions and conditions of the
laws of the city, state and of the federal government and the applicant will comply
with all said laws.
Adopted by the Lino Lakes City Council this 28th day of August, 2006.

Member Stoltz and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted in
favor thereof:
Reinert, Stoltz, O'Donnell, Carlson, Bergeson
