Council Member Reinert introduced the following resolution and moved its
adoption:
CITY OF LINO LAKES
RESOLUTION NO. 06 -158
RESOLUTION APPROVING THE DISTRIBUTION OF AN ENVIRONMENTAL
ASSESSMENT WORKSHEET FOR NATURE'S REFUGE
WHEREAS, MN Rules 4410 establishes the requirements for the preparation of an
Environmental Assessment Worksheets (EAW); and
WHEREAS, Oakwood Land Development is proposing a development called Nature's
Refuge that would require an EAW based its proposed number of dwelling units; and
WHEREAS, the City has initiated an environmental review to determine if a project has
the potential for significant environmental effects, as required by 4410.1000, Subpart 2;
and
WHEREAS, the project proposer has submitted data for an EAW and the City has
• reviewed the submitted data and determined to the best of the City's knowledge that the
EAW is complete and accurate;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Lino Lakes City Council approves the
distribution of the Nature's Refuge EAW for public comment as required by MN Rules
4410.1500.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Council
Member O'Donnell and upon vote being taken thereon, the following
voted in favor thereof:
Reinert, O'Donnell, Stoltz, Carlson, Bergeson

none
Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
