RESOLUTION NO. 06 -159
RESOLUTION AWARDING A CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT LEGACY AT WOODS EDGE —
PHASE 3 STREETSCAPING IMPROVEMENTS (ALTERNATE BID 1)
WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the construction of the Legacy at Woods
Edge — Phase 3 Streetscaping Improvement project, bids were received, opened and tabulated
according to law, and the following bids were received complying with the advertisement:

AND WHEREAS, on April 24, 2006 the City Council awarded the Base Bid to Jay Bros. Inc.,
and reserved the right to award the contract for Bid Alternate 1 to Jay Bros. Inc., no later than
October 24, 2006.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LINO
LAKES, MINNESOTA:
1. The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract with Jay
Bros. Inc., of Forest Lake, Minnesota in the name of the City of Lino Lakes for the
construction of the Legacy at Woods Edge — Phase 3 Streetscaping Improvement Project
for the Bid Alternate 1, in the amount of $824,379.77, according to the plans and
specifications approved by the City Council an le in the office of the City Clerk.

Adopted by the Lino Lakes City Council this 9th day of October, 2006.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Council
Member Stoltz and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor
thereof:
Carlson, Stoltz, O'Donnell, Reinert, Bergeson
The following voted against same:
none
Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
