CITY OF LINO LAKES
RESOLUTION NO. 06 -160
AUTHORIZING SPECIAL EVENT PERMIT AND CABARET LICENSE
FOR HALLOWEEN EVENT AT MANSETTI'S PIZZA & PASTA
ON OCTOBER 28 AND 29, 2006
WHEREAS, Jim Szyplinski, owner of Mansetti's Pizza & Pasta at 6511 Ware
Road, has submitted an application for a special event permit and a cabaret
license for a Halloween event to be held on October 28 and 29, 2006, and
WHEREAS, the applicant has submitted a complete application and has included
specific plans to meet the requirements for holding such an event; and
WHEREAS, the plans for the event are under the review of the fire inspector and
have received the approval of the police department;
WHEREAS, the applicant is committed to continuing to work with staff to address
any additional concerns which may arise;
WHEREAS, proof of general liability and liquor liability insurance have been
submitted by the applicant;
Now, Therefore, Be It Resolved by The City Council of The City of Lino Lakes:
That the City Council authorizes the proper city staff to grant a Special Event
Permit and a Cabaret License to Mansetti's Pizza & Pasta for an Halloween
event on October 28 and 29, 2006 contingent upon approval of public safety
staff.
Approved by the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 9TH day of October,
2006.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded
by Council Member Stoltz and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following
voted in favor thereof: Reinert, Stoltz, Carlson, O'Donnell, Bergeson
The following voted against the same: none.
Whereupon the resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
