CITY OF LINO LAKES
RESOLUTION NO. 06-162
RESOLUTION APPROVING A SUMMARY OF
ORDINANCE NO. 09-06 FOR PUBLICATION
WHEREAS, the City Council approved Ordinance No. 09 -06, amending the Lino Lakes
Zoning Ordinance regarding uses in the business zoning districts, on October 9, 2006;
and
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 09 -06 is lengthy and MN statute 412.191 provides for a city
to publish a summary of an ordinance, and
WHEREAS, the City Council determines that the summary clearly informs the public of
the intent and effect of the ordinance, and
• WHEREAS, the publication in the official newspaper will include a notice that a full
printed copy of the ordinance is available at City Hall,
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT the City Council approves the summary
in Attachment A for publication according to state law and the City Charter.
Passed by the Lino Lakes City Council this 9th day of October, 2006.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Council
Member Stoltz and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor
thereof:
Carlson, Stoltz, O'Donnell, Reinert, Bergeson

SUMMARY OF ORDINANCE NO. 09 -06
APPROVING AMENDMENTS TO THE ZONING ORDINANCE REGARDING
USES IN THE NB NEIGHBORHOOD BUSINESS, LB LIMITED BUSINESS,
AND GB GENERAL BUSINESS ZONING DISTRICTS
SECTION 7 BUSINESS DISTRICTS
Subd. 1. NB, Neighborhood Business Districts
F. Permitted Uses
Add sales of wine and beer to the permitted uses in the NB zone.
H. Conditional Uses
Delete small engine repair as a conditional use in the NB zone.
Add outdoor dining facilities as a conditional use in the NB zone.
Add specialty schools as a conditional use in NB zone.
Subd. 2. LB, Limited Business Districts
H. Conditional Uses
Amend existing conditions for specialty schools in the LB zone to eliminate
limiting to private schools.
Amend existing conditions for outdoor dining facilities in the LB zone.
Subd. 3. GB, General Business Districts
H. Conditional Uses
Amend existing conditions for outdoor dining facilities in the GB zone.
Passed by the Lino Lakes City Council on October 9, 2006.
