HomeMy WebLinkAbout2006-198 Council ResolutionSt. Paul Regional Water Services, page 3 Council Member Reinert introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: CITY OF LINO LAKES RESOLUTION NO. 06 -198 RESOLUTION APPROVING AMENDMENT TO THE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN (St. Paul Regional Water Services) WHEREAS, the City of Lino Lakes has adopted a Comprehensive Plan to guide community growth in a rational and responsible manner through 2020, and WHEREAS, MN Statutes 462.355 authorizes the governing body to amend the comprehensive municipal plan, and WHEREAS, an amendment to the plan is required to allow the proposed sale of certain private lake shore properties to adjacent land owners for combination with existing parcels, and WHEREAS, the City of Lino Lakes Planning and Zoning Board held a public hearing on November 11, 2006 and recommended approval of the Comprehensive Plan amendment, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of Lino Lakes hereby approves the � ollowing amendments to the 2001 Comprehensive Plan as shown on the attached Exhibit A and ascribed as follows: 1. Change the Land Use designation of 4 properties, adjacent to Peltier Lake and Centerville Lake from Public / Semi — Public to Low Density Sewered Residential. These parcels are identified in Exhibit A as Parcels 2, 3, 4, and 15. 2. Change the Land Use designation of a portion of 1 property, adjacent to Centerville Lake from Public / Semi — Public to Low Density Sewered Residential. The portion of the parcel to be changed is identified in Exhibit A as Parcel 14.
