RESOLUTION TO THE METROPOLITAN COUNCIL IDENTIFYING
DEVELOPMENTS TO BE SERVICED IN URBAN SERVICE DISTRICT #1.
WHEREAS, in 1979, the Metropolitan Council allowed
Lino Lakes additional interim sewer service in Urban
Service District #1, and
WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Council limited Lino Lakes
to a maximum of three hundred (300) residential
connections in this Urban Service District, and
WHEREAS, Lino Lakes is presently using only fifty per
cent (SO %) of the allocated connections in this district,
and,
WHEREAS, Lino Lakes has identified specific locations in
Urban Service District #1 for potential residential
connections.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that:
1. The Shenandoah Second Addition residential plat
be added to the approved interim plan for future sewer
connections to the existing system.
2. With this inclusion, the Lino Lakes City Council
warrants the above stated maximum number of services in
Urban Service Area #1 until the Metropolitan Council
has had sufficient time, pursuant to State Law, to re-
view the City's Comprehensive Plan.
3. Lino Lakes shall enforce the Metropolitan Council's
request concerning sewer connections by restricting
building permits (not to exceed 300 sewered connections)
in Urban Service District #1, thus assuring the Council
that Lino Lakes shall control future sewer connnections
in this area.
Passed by the Council of the City of Lino Lakes this
9th day of March, 1981.

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF LINO LAKES, MINNESOTA:
1. A certain petition requesting the improvement of
Highway #49 8 County Road J intersection by the
installation of sewers, filed with the Council on
October 27, 1980, is hereby declared to be signed by
the required percentage of owners of property affected
thereby. This declaration is made in conformity to
Minnesota Statutes, Section 429.035.
2. The petition is hereby referred to Milner Carley
Engineering and he is instructed to report to the
Council with all convenient speed advising the
Council in a preliminary way as to whether the proposed
improvement is feasible and estimated cost of the
improvement as recommended.
