WHEREAS,
RESOLUTION 81 -36
pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the improvement of County
Road J from the intersection of Highway #49 West for 463 feet, bids
were received, opened and tabulated according to law, and the
following bids were received complying with the advertisement:
Randall Contracting, $24,664.50, De -Luxe Construction, Inc, $25,765.90,
Dawson Construction, Inc., $27,503.00, W 6 G Rehbein, Inc., $28,486.00,
Walhunt Construction, Inc., $38,051.00, Johnson Engineering, Inc.,
$39,496.00, Widmer Bro., Inc., $40,582.00.
AND WHEREAS, it appears that Gerald 0. Randall of Randall Contracting,
Inc. is the lowest responsible bidder in the amount of $24,664.50,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF LINO LAKES, MINNESOTA:
1. The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter
into the attached contract with Gerald 0. Randall of Randall
Contracting, Inc. in the name of the City of Lino Lakes for
the improvement of County Road J by installing sewers according
to the plans and specification therefor approved by the City
Council and on file in the office of the City Clerk.
2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return
forthwith to all bidders the deposits made with their bids,
except that the deposits of the successful bidder and the next
lowest bidder shall be retained until a contract has been
signed.
