RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE TRANSFER OF FEDERAL REVENUE SHARING FUNDS
FOR 1981
WHEREAS, the City of Lino Lakes has established a trust fund and
deposited all Revenue Sharing funds received in that fund,
pursuant to regulations prescribed by the Office of
Revenue Sharing, and
WHEREAS, these funds must be expended within a reasonable time
according to Revenue Sharing regulations, and
WHEREAS, the City of Lino Lakes has assured the Director of the
Office of Revenue Sharing that with respect to payment
received under the Act, the mandatory requirements of the
State and Local Fiscal Assistance Act of 1972 as amended
have been complied with, and
WHEREAS, in order to complete the necessary transactions, a transfer
of funds from the Revenue Sharing Trust Fund to the City
General Fund must be authorized by the City Council.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED:
• That the Lino Lakes City Council instruct the City Clerk to transfer
$444e1.-47,4V of Revenue Sharing Funds into the General Fund for the
purpose of retiring expenses in the Police Department as authorized
at the November 10th, 1980 Planned Use Public Hearing.
