RAIICLUTION REQUESTING THE ANOKA COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS TO TRANSFER
STREET IN LINO LAKES TO THE COUNTY ROAD SYSTEM.

80th Street lira. in the Northeast corner of the City of Lino Lakes
of which it is bounded on the West by Anoka County State Aid Highway
#21 and on the East by Washington County State Aid Highway #6, and
80th Street runs the length of one (1) mile and links two county
highways which are classified as collector roadways, and
the standards of 80th Street do not meet the Health and safety
criteria set out for a Collector road, (i.e, width and tonnage),and
local staff has net with the Anoka County Engineer to review the
necessary steps that must be taken in order for the County to
transfer 80th Street into the County Road System, and
the City of Lino Lakes understands that certain issues must be
resolved such as the purchasing of additional right -of -way and
the upgrading of Bridge #L8158, and
the City Council would proceed on these issues once the Anoka
County Board of Commissioners indicated its intent concerning the
Council's request.
N,THEREFORE, be it Resolved that;
The Lino Lakes City Council hereby requests the assistance of the
Anoka County Board of Commissioners in order to transfer 80th Street
of Lino Lakes to the Anoka County Road Systelp.
This authorization would be contingent upon the requests as outlined
by the Anoka County Engineer and his staff.
