RESOLUTION 82- 19
RESOLUTION APPROVING, ESTABLISHING AND ADOPTING THE 1982 TAX LEVY,
COLLECTIBLE IN 1983.
WHERJ'AS, the City of Lino Lakes is in need of certain funds to
pay expenses, obligations and indebtedness due and
anticipated in the year 1983, and
WHEREAS, the City of Lino Lakes wishes to stay within the levy
limitations inposed upon it by the State of Minnesota,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City
of Lino Lakes, Anoka County, Minnesota, hereby does levy the
following sums of money for the current year, collectible in the
year 1983, upon the taxable property in said City of Lino Lakes,
to -wit:
1. Total amount levied in the year 1982 to be spread
for taxes due and payable in the year 1983 is in
the total sum of $580,020.00.
2. The amount above levied is in the following
amounts for the follwoing budgeted purposes:
a) Special levies as authorized by MN Statutes,
Decreased Mobile Home Tax 1,000.00
Liability insurance 6,929.00
Matching Funds Program 9,020.00
Bonded Indebtedness 32,659.00
Certificates of Indebtedness 64,772.00
Bonds for other Gov't Unit 7,850.00
Tax Abatement 3,032.00
Unfunded Liability PERA 20,967.00
Shade Tree Disease Control 3,160.00
1982/1983 Levy Limitation 430,631.00
TOTAL 580,020.00
The Bond and interest Levy hereinabove is the actual amount
requested to be spread upon the tax rolls and any increase for
the year 1983 over that previously levied is necessary to cover
a deficit in the fund in question and any decrease is determined
to be in order due to surplus in such particluar fund.
