A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ABANDONMENT OF A PORTION OF
EAST SHADOW LAKE DRIVE.
WHEREAS, in 1972 the property owner of Lakes Addition #7
constructed a roadway on his property, which linked the
existing East Shadow Lake Drive into Birch Street, also
known as State Aid Highway #10, and
WHEREAS, the understanding at that time was that this
extension of East Shadow Lake Drive was only on a temporary
basis, and
WHEREAS, at such time that Lantern Lane was constructed
for providing access to Birch Street, then the East Shadow
Lake Drive extension located in Lakes Addition #7 would no
longer be needed.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED:
1. That Lantern Lane has been completed and
therefore provides access of East Shadow
Lake Drive to Birch Street.
2. That due to the lack of need for the
existing extension of that part of East
Shadow Lake Drive that lies over Outlot K
located in Lakes Addition #7, that such
extension be permanently abandondd=: at no
cost to the City of Lino Lakes.
