RESOLUTION DESIGNATINZ3 THE USE OF THE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT
BLOCK GRANT FUNDS FOR THE CITY OF LINO LAKES - 1983.
WHEREAS,
WHEREAS,
WHEREAS,
Title I of the Housing and Community Development
Act of 1974, as amended,provides for a program of
Community Development Block Grant Funds, and
with the assistance ftdm the City of Lino Lakes,
Anoka County has qualified as an Urban County
designee, and
the Community Development Block Grant funds received
by the City of Lino Lakes in 1981 and 1982 have been
allocated for the construction of a Senior Citizen's
Center, and
WHEREAS, the City of Lino Lakes has been notified by Anoka
County that Community Development Block Grant Funds
have been allocated far the City's use in 1983.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
That the Lino Lakes City Council hereby allocates Five Thousand
Dollars ($5,000.00) of its entitled 1983 Community Development
Block Grant Funds for the Alexandria House and related programs.
The balance of such 1983 entitled funds shall be designated for
the construction of the proposed Senior Citizen's Center.
