RESOLUTION NO. 83 -17
RESOLUTION REQUESTING AUTHORIZATION FOR THE
CITY OF LINO LAKES TO ALLOCATE ITS 1.983 "JOBS BILL"
SUPPLEMENTAL CDBG FUNDS FOR ITS SENIOR CENTER
WHEREAS, Anoka County will be receiving supplemental 1983 CDBG
funding as a result of Federal Legislation, and
WHEREAS, such legislation specifies the same rules and regulations
as required for the CDBG program, and
WHEREAS, the CDBG formula for fund allocation would appropriate
$12,434.00 for the City of Lino Lakes, and
WHEREAS, in addition to such regulations, an emphasis has been
placed on job creation.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF LINO LAKES,
MINNESOTA:
That, the Lino Lakes City Council requests that its
1983 supplemental CDBG allocation be designated for
the proposed Senior Citizens Center.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED:
That, the intent of the above referenced legislation
will be complied with and such application of CDBG
funds are consistent with Housing and Urban Develop-
ment standards.
