WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the
improvement of Baldwin Lake Mobile Home Court, bids
were received, opened and tablulated according to law,
Channel
AND WHEREAS, it appears that Constructionof Isle, MN
is the lowest responsible bidder.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
LINO LAKES, MINNESOTA:
1. The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized and
directed to enter into the attached contract
with Channel Const. of Isle, MN
in the name of the City of Lino Lakes for the
improvement of Baldwin Lake Mobile Home Court
according to the Plans and Specifications therefor
approved by the City Council and on file in the
office of the City Clerk.
2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed
to return forthwith to all bidders the deposits
made with their bids, except that_the deposits
of the successful bidder and the next lowest
bidder shall be retained until a contract has been
signed.
Adopted by the City Council this 8th day of August ,1983.

The purpose of this letter is to report the results of the bid opening for the
Baldwin Lake Mobile Homes Sanitary Sewer Improvements held at 10 :30 AM
on August 5, 1983 at the City Hall. A tabulation of the bids is attached for
your information.

dated August 5, 1982.
TKDA presented a Sanitary Sewer Report, Baldwin Lake Mobile Park, dated
December 13, 1982, in which it was recommended that a portion of this proposed
sewer be deepened to serve additional areas in the future.

There were some significant additional quantities in the final project which
were not included in the initial proposal prepared for the developer. These
items were additional service pipe and drop sections for future service
connections, two manholes with some additional manhole and pipe depth, and
an increase in the amount of bituminous surface removal and replacement.
Following is a comparison of initial cost estimates and the additional quantities
included in the project, with bid prices:

mended that the City Council award the contract to Channel Construction in the
amount of $46, 193. 50.
