HomeMy WebLinkAbout1983-030 Council Resolution• #83-30 RESOLUTION ADOPTING ASSESSMENT WHEREAS, pursuant to proper notice duly given as required by the City Charter and State statute, the City Council has met and heard and passed upon all objections to the proposed assessment of the Baldwin Lake Trailer Court for the installation of sanitary sewer; NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the 'City Council of Lino Lakes, Minnesota: 1. Such proposed assessment, copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof is hereby accepted and shall constitute the special assessment against the lands named therein, and each tract of land therein included is hereby found to be benefited by the proposed improvement in the amount of the assessment levied against it. 2. Such assessment shall be payable in equal annual installments including principal and interest; the first of the installments to be payable on or before April 15, 1984 and thereafter in semiannual installments each September 15 and April 15 thereafter until September 15, 1994 when the entire balance plus accrued interest shall be due and payable in full. Such assessment shall bear interest at the rate of ten (10 %) per cent per annum from the date of adoption of this assessment resolution. 3. The owner of the property so assessed, may at any time pay the whole of the assessment on such property, with interest accrued to the date of payment to the City Treasurer. 4. The Clerk shall file the assessment rolls pertaining to this assessment in her office and shall certify annually to the County Auditor on or before October 10 of each year the total amount of the installments and interest which are to become due in the following year on the assessment on each parcel of land included in the assessment roll.
