RESOLUTION # 84 -8
RESOLUTION NOMINATING LINO LAKES CITIZEN AL ROSS AS METROPOLITAN
COUNCIL "REGIONAL CITIZEN OF THE YEAR.
WHEREAS,

WHEREAS,

WHEREAS,
WHEREAS,
Al Ross has been a resident of Lino Lakes for 33 years, and
Al served for many years as a Lino Lakes council member
and mayor, and
Al also served as an Anoka County Commissioner, and
In these capacities, Al worked tirelessly to serve his
constituents and nurture the development of Anoka County
and Lino Lakes, and
Through his efforts, Al made significant contribution to
the quality of life in Anoka County and Lino Lakes, and
Al continues his public service in a variety of metropolitan
groups including the Metropolitan Transportation Advisory
Board and Policy Board and the MTC Crime Control Board, and
Al also continues to serve the public interest through
affiliations with many civic, church, labor and county
groups.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Lino Lakes City Council
endorse by acclamation, the nomination of Al Ross as the Metropolitan
Council Regional Citizen of the Year.
