HomeMy WebLinkAbout1986-043 Council Resolution• CITY OF LINO LAKES Resolution #43 - 86 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF 4TH AVENUE AND THE CLEANING OF COUNTY DITCH #22 WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the improvement of 4th Avenue from Lilac Street on the south to Main St- reet (County #14) on the north, bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law, and the following bids were received complying with the advertisement: Forest Lake Contracting, $535,494.55; Hardrives, Inc., $569,952.55; Lametti & Sons, 656,000.00, and WHEREAS, it appears that Forest Lake Contracting of Columbus Town - ship, 55025 is the lowest responsible bidder, NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF LINO LAKES, MINNESOTA: 1. The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into the attached contract with Forest Lake Contracting of Columbus Township in the name of the City of Lino Lakes for the improvement 4th Avenue and the cleaning of Ditch #22 from Lilac Street to Main Street (County #14) by cleaning Ditch #22 and upgrading 4th Avenue according to the plans and specifications therefor approved by the City Council and on file in the office of the City Clerk- Treasurer. 2. The City Clerk- Treasurer is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the deposits made with their bids, except that the deposit of the successful bidder and the next bidder shall be retained until a contract has been signed.
