HomeMy WebLinkAbout2012-045 Council Resolution• • CITY OF LINO LAKES RESOLUTION NO. 12 -45 Resolution Approving a Peddler License for Pro Star Tree Care WHEREAS, Pro Star Tree Care has submitted a peddlers license application to the city clerk's office; and WHEREAS, Pro Star Tree Care has complied with all of the provisions of Chapter 613 of the Lino Lakes City Code for obtaining the necessary license for a for -profit business; and WHEREAS, the Lino Lakes Police Department has conducted a background check on the company representative that would be working in Lino Lakes, Mr. Randy Lust; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by The City Council of The City of Lino Lakes, Minnesota: Mr. Randy Lust, owner of Pro Star Tree Care, is hereby authorized to sell services door to door for a period of six - months beginning June 12, 2012 and ending December 12, 2012. Adopted by the Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 11th day of June, 2012. The company representative who would be working in Lino Lakes, Mr. Randy Lust, plans to travel through the Lino Lakes' neighborhoods going door to door handing out flyers and promoting tree services. The City has received all the necessary forms required to issue this company a license. The Lino Lakes Police Department has performed a background check and indicates no reason to deny the application. The application and all other required information is on file in the city clerk's office for review. RECOMMENDATION Approve Resolution No. 12 -45, Approving the issuance of a Peddler License for a six month period commencing June 12, 2012.
