CITY OF LINO LAKES
RESOLUTION NO. 12-92
RESOLUTION SETTING DATE FOR THE PUBLIC HEARING FOR THE
PROPOSED 2013 OPERATING BUDGET AND 2012 TAX LEVY COLLECTIBLE
IN 2013
WHEREAS, governmental entities are required to hold a hearing during a regularly
scheduled City Council meeting to receive public input on the proposed operating budget
and tax levy; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council of Lino Lakes wishes to set the date and time of its
meeting for this purpose.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by The City Council of The City of Lino
Lakes, Minnesota that the City of Lino Lakes, Anoka County, Minnesota, that:
1. The public hearing date is hereby set for Monday, December 10, 2012, at 6:30 p.m.
during the regularly scheduled City Council meeting with final adoption of the 2012-
2013 tax levy and 2013 general operating budget anticipated immediately following
the hearing.
Adopted by the Lino Lakes City Council this 10th day of September, 2012.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was introduced by Council
Member Roeser and was duly seconded by Council Member 0' Donnell and
upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof:
Roeser, O'Donnell, Rafferty, Stoesz, Rein
The following voted against same:
none

All local government entities over 500 in population are required to hold a public hearing
to receive public input on the proposed levy and general operation budget.
Resolution 12 -92 sets Monday, December 10, 2012, at 6:30 p.m. during the regularly
scheduled City Council meeting as the date for the City's hearing. Final adoption of the
2012/13 tax levy and 2013 general operating budget is anticipated immediately following
the hearing.
RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends adoption of Resolution 12 -92.
