CITY OF LINO LAKES
RESOLUTION NO. 12 -98
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING CONSTRUCTION SERVICE CONTRACT
WITH TKDA FOR THE LAKE/MAIN & BIRCH/WARE SIGNAL PROJECT
WHEREAS, the City of Lino Lakes has awarded the contract for the Lake /Main & Birch/Ware
Signal Improvement Project; and
WHEREAS, TKDA, the City's consulting engineer, has submitted a proposal to provide
construction engineering services for the project
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LINO LAKES, MINNESOTA:
1. The city council approves the construction services agreement with TKDA in the amount not
to exceed of $ 9,875.
Adopted by the Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 10th day of September, 2012.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was introduced by Council Member
Stoesz and was duly seconded by Council Member o ' Donnell and
upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof:

Staff is requesting council action to authorize a construction services agreement with TKDA,
Inc., the city's consulting engineering for the Lake /Main & Birch/Ware Signal Improvement
Proj ect
BACKGROUND
The council is considering the award of the construction contract for the Lake /Main &
Birch/Ware Signal Project. Under the terms of the Joint Powers Agreement with Anoka County
the City is responsible for construction engineering for Sioux Lane, preparation of record plans
and any design related construction questions.
TKDA has submitted a proposal to complete these services in the amount of $9,875. The project
will be billed on an hourly rate basis.
RECOMMENDATION
Staff is recommending approval of Resolution No. 12 -97.
