CITY OF LINO LAKES
RESOLUTION NO. 12 -124
RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE 2013 WATER AND SEWER OPERATING BUDGETS
WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the proposed 2013 Water and Sewer Operating Budgets during their budget
work sessions, and,
WHEREAS, the City Council each year adopts the Water and Sewer Operating Budgets by resolution.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Lino Lakes that the following Water and Sewer
Operating Budgets for the year 2013 are hereby adopted:

following voted in favor thereof:

TOPIC Consideration of adopting Resolution No. 12 -124 adopting the final
2013 Water and Sewer Operating Budgets

BACKGROUND
Simple Majority
The City Council reviewed the proposed 2013 Water and Sewer Operating Budgets at their budget work
sessions. The budgets include the cost of depreciation of infrastructure as an expense, and recovery of this
cost is incorporated into the utility rate structure. Water and sewer rates are being reviewed and any
adjustments will be implemented in 2013.
It has been the practice of the City Council to adopt the Water and Sewer Operating budgets by resolution.
Staff recommendation is to adopt Resolution No. 12 -124 adopting the fmal 2013 Water and Sewer
Operating Budgets.
RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends adoption of Resolution 12 -124.
