RESOLUTION NO. 13 -01

WHEREAS, Sherco Construction, Inc., has submitted a peddlers license application to the city
clerk's office; and
WHEREAS, Sherco Construction, Inc. has complied with all of the provisions of Chapter 613
of the Lino Lakes City Code for obtaining the necessary license for a for - profit business; and
WHEREAS, the Lino Lakes Police Department has conducted a background check on the
company representatives that would be working in Lino Lakes, Shayne Andrew Hawkins,
Dennis William Rediski, Brian Joseph Smith and Grant Samuel Peterson;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by The City Council of The City of Lino Lakes,
Minnesota:
Mr. Shayne Hawkins, Mr. Dennis Rediski, Mr. Brian Smith and Mr. Grant Peterson, employees
of Sherco Constriction, Inc., are hereby authorized to vend for a period of six - months beginning
January 15, 2013 and ending July 14, 2013.
Adopted by the Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 14th day of January, 2013.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was introduced by Council Member

taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof:

Sherco Construction, Inc.

BACKGROUND
Sherco Construction Inc., 21833 Viking Blvd. NE, Wyoming, Minnesota, has submitted a
peddler's license application to the city clerk's office. The company representatives who
would be working in Lino Lakes, Mr. Shayne Hawkins, Mr. Dennis Rediski, Mr. Brian
Smith and Mr. Grant Peterson, plan to travel through Lino Lakes' neighborhoods offering
free inspections of exterior of home for failed windows, siding, or other damage and
leaving brochures and flyer with homeowners.
The City has received all the necessary forms required to issue this company a license.
The Lino Lakes Police Department has performed background checks and indicated no
reason to deny the application.
The application and all other required information is on file in the city clerk's office for
review.
RECOMMENDATION
Approve Resolution No. 13 -01, Issuance of a Peddler License for a six month period
commencing January 15, 2013.
