Council Member Reinert introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption:
CITY OF LINO LAKES
RESOLUTION NO. 07-60
RESOLUTION APPROVING CHANGE ORDER NO. 4
LEGACY AT WOODS EDGE PHASE 1— STREET AND UTILITY IMPROVEMENTS
WHEREAS, pursuant to the resolution of the Council adopted August 22, 2005,
awarding the construction contract for the Legacy at Woods Edge Phase 1 - Street and
Utility Improvements to Glenn Rehbein Companies, and
WHEREAS, the contract requires amendment to include the installation of the sanitary
sewer lift station and electrical and mechanical equipment and adjust sanitary sewer,
water main, storm sewer and street improvement quantities to reflect actual constructed
quantities.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LINO LAKES, MINNESOTA that:
1. Change Order No.4 related to the installation of lift station electrical and
mechanical equipment and a reduction of in estimated quantities unit quantities
to reflect actual constructed quantities in the amount of $10,600.98 is hereby
approved.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Council
Member o' Donneltind upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor

Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.

ACTION REQUIRED: Simple Majority
BACKGROUND
On August 22, 2005 the City Council awarded the Legacy at Woods Edge Phase 1 —
Street and Utility Improvements contract to Glenn Rehbein Companies. The current
approved contract amount is $2,631,683.85.
Change Order No. 4 is for the installation of lift station control panel and mechanical
equipment and for the reduction of sanitary sewer, water main, storm sewer and street
improvement quantities to reflect actual construction quantities. The total cost of the
Change Order is $10,600.98.
The total revised contract amount, with the change order, is $2,642,284.83.
The cost of the improvements were previously included in the City's financing package
and special assessments levied against the properties.
RECOMMENDATION
Staff is recommending the adoption of Resolution No. 07 -60, Approving Change Order
No.4 in the amount of $10,600.98.

actual constructed quantities.
