Council Member Stoltz introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption:
CITY OF LINO LAKES, MINNESOTA
RESOLUTION NO. 07 -63
SUPPORTING ANOKA COUNTY FEDERAL FUNDING APPLICATION FOR
IMPROVEMENTS TO COUNTY ROAD J /CSAH 49 INTERSECTION
WHEREAS, Ash Street, in the City of Lino Lakes, Minnesota is Anoka County Road J
and is designated as an A Minor Arterial; and
WHEREAS, Hodgson Road, in the City of Lino Lakes, Minnesota is Anoka County State
Aid Highway 49 and is designated as an A Minor Arterial; and
WHEREAS, the intersection of CR J and CSAH 49 is currently experiencing growing
congestion and safety problems; and
WHEREAS, Anoka County is proposing to reconstruct the intersection to include turn
lanes and signalization.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, the City of Lino Lakes endorses Anoka
County's application for Federal Transportation Funds and fully supports the
construction of said project.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, the City of Lino Lakes, in cooperation with Anoka
County, is committed to procuring local (non - federal funds) match funds of a least 20
percent of the construction costs required as part of the Federal Transportation Grant
program.

Adopted by the Lino Lakes City Council this 23rd day of April 2007.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Council
Member Carlson and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor
thereof:
Stoltz, Carlson, O'Donnell, Reinert, Bergeson
The following voted against same:
none
Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
