RESOLUTION No. 07 -73
RESOLUTION FOR AGREEMENT TO STATE TRANSPORTATION FUND
LOCAL ROAD IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM
GRANT TERMS AND CONDITIONS
S.P. 0280 -55
WHEREAS, the City of Lino Lakes has applied to the Commissioner of Transportation
for a grant from the Minnesota State Transportation Fund for construction of Local Road
Improvement Project No. S.P. 0280 -55; and
WHEREAS, the Commissioner of Transportation has given notice that funding for this
local road improvement project is available; and
WHEREAS, the amount of the grant has been determined to be $400,000.00.
• NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved that the City of Lino Lakes, Minnesota does hereby
agree to the terms and conditions of the grant consistent with Minnesota Statutes,
section 174.52, subdivision 5, and will pay any additional amount by which the cost
exceeds the estimate, and will return to the Minnesota State Transportation Fund any
amount appropriated for the road project, but not required.

Adopted by the Lino Lakes City Council thisl4th day of May, 2007.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Council
Member Carlson and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor
thereof:
Stoltz, Carlson, O'Donnell, Reinert, Bergeson
The following voted against same:
none
Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.

Consideration of Resolution No. 07 -73,
Requesting Local Road Improvement Funding
Lake Drive (CSAH 23)/35W Interchange
Simple Majority
In 2006 the City received a grant from the State of Minnesota's Local Road
Improvement Program, in the amount of $400,000, for the Lake Drive /35W Interchange
Project.
The funding will be distributed following the City's request of the funds.
RECOMMENDATION
Staff is recommending approval of Resolution No. 07 -73
