Seconded by Mr. Jaworski. Mr. Kulaszewicz questioned the wisdon of spending more money. Mr. Jaworski reminded Mr. Kulaszewicz that the sewer priject is dead, this is an attempt to try to reestablish this City in the bond market. Mr. Kulaszewicz asked the cost involved in taking this matter to the Supreme Court and Mr. Locher said, approximately $5,000.00. Mr. Ross asked if there was any legal assurance when this City will be on the agenda for the Supreme Court and Mr. Locher said, there was none. Mr. Ross said he understood they have a pretty full agenda, is that correct? Mr. Locher said, that was correct, however, if the Judge cer- tifies it and states that it is pressing issue, they (the Supreme Court) may gove the City preference, but he has no assurance that this will happen. Mr. Ross felt this should have been thought out very clearly before the City got into this istuation. Mayor Gourely asked if there was any other l.isucssion and there was none. The question was put for a vote and the motion carried with Mr. McLean and Mr. Kulaszewicz voting, No. Mr. Jaworski moved to adjourn. Seconded by Mrs. Elsenpeter. Motion carried unanimously. These minutes were considered and approved as presented at a regular meeting held on November 16, 1981. dna L. arner, Clerk - Treasurer Novmber 5, 1981 The Special Meeting of the Lino Lakes City Council was called to order at 7:05 P.M., on November 5, 1981, by Acting Mayor Elsenpeter. Members present: Kulaszewicz, McLean. Absent; Gourley, Jaworski. This meeting was called to canvass the results of the City Election held on November 3, 1981. The Clerk Reported the following results: For the Office of Mayor Ina Liljedahl Benjamin Benson Harvey Karth Ken Gourley For the Office of Council Member 160 votes 956 Votes 328 Votes 13 votes John McLean 494 Votes 1 1 1 Vernon Reinert John Merrill Richard Kulaszewicz Rebecca Gray Richard Michael Cheney Charles Cheesebrough November 5, 1981 835 Votes 555 Votes 655'Votes 139 Votes 81 Votes 1 vote 99 There were 1446 votes cast on Election Day plys 30 absentee ballots, for a total of 1476 ballots cast. Of this total 2 ballots were defective and could not be counted. After reviewing the above results, Mr. McLean moved to declare Mr. Benjamin Benson as the winner for the office of the Mayor and Mr. Vernon Reinert and Mr. Richard Kulaszewicz as winners for the office of Council Members. Seconded by Mr. Kulaszewicz. Motion carried unanimously. Mr. Schumacher requested that a working budget meeting be set in order to finalize the 1982 budget. Mr. McLean moved to set a working budget meeting for Tuesday, November 17, 1981 at 7:30 P.M. Seconed by Mr. Kulaszewicz. Motion carried unanimously. Mr. McLean moved to adjourn the meeting at 7:15 P.M. Seconded by Mr. Kulaszewicz. Motion carried unanimously. Sarner, Clerk - Treasurer November 16, 1981 The November 16, 1981 meeting of the Lino Lakes City Council was called to order at 7:45 P.M. by Acting Mayor Elsenpeter. This meeting is necessitated due to the cancellation of the regular meeting scheduled for November 9, 1981 at which there was not a quorum. Members present at this meeting; McLean, Kulaszewicz. Absent; Mayor Gourley, Jaworski. MINUTES On considering the minutes of October 15, 1981, there were no additions or corrections. Mr. Kulaszewicz moved to approve as presented. Seconded by Mr. McLean. Motion carried unanimously. On considering the minutes of October 26, 1981, Mr. McLean moved to approve as presented. Seconded by Mr. Kulaszewicz. Motion carried unanimously. On considering the minutes of November 5, 1981, Mrs. Elsenpeter corrected the number of votes received by Richard Michael Cheney - the number should read '81'. Mr. Kulaszewicz moved to approve as corrected. Seconded by Mr. McLean. Motion carried unanimously. DISBURSEMENTS
