Council Membercarlson introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption:
CITY OF LINO LAKES
COUNTY OF ANOKA
RESOLUTION NO. 07 -130
RESOLUTION APPROVING PEDDLERS LICENSE
WHEREAS, Turco Construction, Inc., has submitted a peddlers license application to
the city clerk's office; and
WHEREAS, Turco Construction, Inc. has complied with all of the provisions of
Ordinance No. 01 -89 of the Lino Lakes City Code for obtaining the necessary license
for a profit business; and
WHEREAS, the Lino Lakes Police Department has conducted a background check on
all Turco Construction representatives who would be soliciting;
NOW, THEREFORE, be it Resolved by the City Council of The City of Lino Lakes:
Turco Construction, Inc. is hereby authorized to solicit construction services door to
door fora period of six - months beginning September 10, 2007 and ending March 10,
2008 subject to all conditions and provisions of said ordinance.
Passed by the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 10th day of September, 2007.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Council
Member Stoltz and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor
thereof:
Carlson, Stoltz, O'Donnell, Reinert, Bergeson
The following voted against same:
none
Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.

for Turco Construction
VOTE REQUIRED: Simple Majority (3/5 Vote)
BACKGROUND:
Turco Construction, Inc., 4808 Lilac Drive North, Brooklyn Center, MN, has
submitted a peddler's license application to the city clerk's office. The company
requests authorization to send company representatives door to door in the city
selling roofing, siding and gutters. The city has received the permit fee and all
the necessary forms required to issue Turco Construction a license. The Lino
Lakes Police Department has performed a background check and indicated
there would be no reason to recommend denial of the license.
The application and all other required information is on file in the city clerk's
office for review.
