CITY OF LINO LAKES
COUNTY OF ANOKA
RESOLUTION NO. 07 -136
APPROVING ISSUANCE OF A PEDDLER/TRANSIENT MERCHANT LICENSE
TO T.A.P. ENTERPRISES
WHEREAS, T.A.P. Enterprises has submitted an application for a transient
merchant license to the city clerk's office, requesting permission to conduct a tool
and general merchandise sale at St. Joseph's Church great hall and parking lot
at 171 Elm Street on September 20, 2007; and
WHEREAS, the applicants have complied with all of the provisions of Chapter
612 of the Lino Lakes City Code for obtaining a license for a profit business; and
WHEREAS, the Lino Lakes Police Department has completed the required
background investigations and has found no reason to deny the license;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF LINO LAKES, MINNESOTA:
The City of Lino Lakes hereby adopts Resolution No. 07 -136 approving issuance
of a peddler /transient merchant license to T.A.P. Enterprises of Fremont,
Nebraska, to be effective for a six month period commencing upon passage of
this resolution.
Adopted by the Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 10th day of September
2007.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by
Council Membero'Donnelland upon vote being taken thereon, the following
voted in favor thereof:

TOPIC Consider Resolution No. 07 -136, Approving a
Transient Merchant License for T.A.P. Enterprises
VOTE REQUIRED: Simple Majority (3/5 Vote Required)
BACKGROUND:
The City has received an application for a peddler /transient merchant license from
T.A.P. Enterprises of Fremont, Nebraska, to hold a tool and general merchandise sale
at St. Joseph's Church, 171 Elm Street, on Thursday, September 10, 2007. The
applicant indicates they would be displaying their merchandise in the great hall area for
payment and eventual pick up from a semi -truck in the parking lot. The hours of the
IIIsale are 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Upon receipt of the application, personal history forms for all who would be involved in
the sale were forwarded to the Police Department for a background check.
The permit application and background information are on file in the city clerk's office.
If issued, the license would be in place for a period of six months.
OPTIONS:
1. Approve Resolution No. 07 -136, approving the issuance of a
Peddler/Transient Merchant license to T.A.P. Enterprises
2. Deny approval of Resolution
