adoption:
CITY OF LINO LAKES
RESOLUTION NO. 07 -141
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BIDS AND AWARDING A CONSTRUCTION
CONTRACT — CSAH 14/8 (MAIN STREET) MEDIAN LANDSCAPING
IMPROVEMENTS
WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the construction of the CSAH
14/8 (Main Street) Median Landscaping Improvements, bids were received, opened and
tabulated according to law, and the following bids were received complying with the
advertisement:

Hoffman McNamara Co.
Create Construction, Inc.
Engineer's Estimate

• AND WHEREAS, it appears that Peterson Companies, Inc., is the lowest responsible
bidder;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LINO LAKES, MINNESOTA:
1. The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract
with Peterson Companies, Inc., in the name of the City of Lino Lakes for the
construction of the CSAH 14/8 (Main Street) Median Landscaping Improvements
according to the plans and specifications approved by the City Council and on file in
the office of the City Clerk.
2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the
deposits made with their bids, except that the deposits of the successful bidder and
the next two lowest bidders shall be retained un - contract has been signed.

Adopted by the Lino Lakes City Council this 10th day of September, 2007.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Council
Member O'Donnell and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted
in favor thereof: Stoltz, O'Donnell, Reinert, Carlson, Bergeson
The following voted against same:
none
Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.

BACKGROUND:
Sealed bids were received and publicly opened at 10:00 a.m. on September 4, 2007.
The results of the bid opening are presented below. City Council action is required to
award a construction contract to the lowest responsible bidder.

Construction Contract, CSAH 14/8 (Main Street) Median Landscaping Improvements.
