Drive in the Rice Lake Additions. Mr. Locher was instructed to write the necessary
ordinance for this.
Under the Park Board Report, Mr. Schumacher noted that the Park Board had a request
for the bases at the Babe Ruth Field in Lino Park. The team that has used that
field will no longer be using it and Mr. Gessner had requested the bases. These
bases had been purchased by the Lino Athletic Association and given to the City.
The Park Board had recommended that these bases be given to the Babe Ruth League.
Mr. Jaworski moved to give the bases to the League at no cost. Seconded by. Mr.
Kulaszewicz. Motion carried unanimously.
The Park Board had also recommended an upgrading of the figures used for a per acreage
cost for money in leiu of land for park purposes. After some discussion of this
matter, Mr. Jaworski moved to refer this matter to the Assessor. Seconded by Mr.
McLean. Motion carried unanimously.
Chief Myhre reported on the comparison he had done in conjunction with the Animal
Control. He had found some difference between the two facilities. Mr. McLean
moved to request a contract proposal from White Bear Township. Seconded by Mr.
Jaworski. Motion carried unanimously.
Under Old Business, Mr. Al Ross asked if there had been any thing done in reference
to the exit problem at Rocky's and was told that the State Highway Department had
been contacted.
Mr. McLean moved to adjourn at 11:10 P.M. Seconded by Mr. Jaworski. Aye.

The Special Meeting of the Lino Lakes City Council was called to order at 8:00 P.M.
by Mayor Gourley with all members present except Mr. Jaworski. Mr. Schumacher was
also present.
Mayor Gourley said this meeting is for the purpose fo providing information on a pro-
posed sewer project that would start on County Road J and end just South of the trail-
er park. There will be no decision made at this meeting. This improvement is con -
carned with Hodgson Road, Linda Street and Laurene.
The meeting was turned over to the Engineer and Mr. Carley presented the estimated
790,000.00 as the cost for this project. Mr. Carley presented several ways in which
this could be assessed, which would be approximately $45.00 to $50.00 per front foot,
this would be on the per front foot only.

There was comments from the audience suggesting several alternatives. Mr. Carley
answered the questions and comments.
Mr. Kulaszewicz moved that this matter be considered on the March 9, 1981 agenda
at 7:45 P.M. Seconded by Mr. McLean. Motion carried unanimously.
Mr. McLean moved to adjourn. Seconded by Mr. Kulaszewicz. Aye.

The regular meeting of the Lino Lakes City Council was called to order at 7:30 P.M.,
March 9, 1981, by Mayor Gourley with all members present except Mr. Kulaszewicz.
Mr. Locher, Mr. Meister, and Mr. Schumacher were also present.
On considering the minutes of February 23, 1981, Mr. Jaworski moved to approve, sec-
onded by Mr. McLean. Mayor Gourley corrected the minutes as follows: on page two,
in the Northwestern Bell discussion, the Council also discussed the possibility of
either increasing the lot size to a conforming sewered lot configuration or decreasing
it to a size that is just big enough to allow for the proper setbacks; on the Ostrom
grant - is that a correct statement on the action of the Planning and Zoning that
they recommended on a 4 to 1 vote that the Council amend Ord. #56? The general consen-
sus of the Council members was that this is a correct statement; In the Public Hearing
on the Schilling rezoning for Wollans Estates it should be noted that the Chair asked
for comments from the audience and there were none. Mayor Gourley asked the maker of
the motion and the one who seconded the motion to include the corrections and they
accepted the additions. Motion carried unanimously}
On considering the February 25, 1981 minutes, Mr. McLean moved to approve as presented.
Seconded by Mrs. Elsenpeter. Motion carried with Mr. Jaworski abstaining.
On considering the disbursements, Mayor Gourley questioned the expenditure of $150.00
from dedicated park funds for sandblasting - Mr. Schumacher explained this is for
the work done on the buried tank that is being converted into a water tank and this
is the park departments share of the costs. This was taken from dedicated funds
since no provisions had been made in the budget for this work; there was a question
on an escrow amount being returned - Mr. Schumacher explained this had been for the
