Council Member Carlson introduced the following resolution and moved its
adoption:
CITY OF LINO LAKES
RESOLUTION NO. 07-197
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE TRANSFER OF FUNDS FROM THE DWI
FORFEITURE FUND TO THE CAPITAL EQUIPMENT FUND
WHEREAS, the replacement squad created a deficit in the Capital Equipment Fund
(402), and
WHEREAS, a portion of the DWI Forfeiture fund is used to refund the Capital Equipment
Fund
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the following transfer be adopted:
Increase Decrease
Capital Equipment Fund (402) $5,080.00
DWI Forfeiture Fund
Adopted by the City Council of Lino Lakes this 26th day of November, 2007.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by
Council Member Stoltz and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in
favor thereof:

VOTE REQUIRED: Simple Majority
BACKGROUND
The Lino Lakes Police Department is requesting council to adopt Resolution No. 07-
0 197, transferring $5,080 from the DWI Forfeiture Fund to the Capitol Equipment Fund.
OPTIONS
1. Adopt Resolution No. 07 -197 transferring the money.
2. Return the Resolution to staff for further information.
