Resolution No. 49 - 87
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BIDS FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF TRUNK WATER
MAIN INSTALLATION FOR SOUTHEAST WATER DISTRICT
WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the
installation of water mains in the Southeast
Water District, bids were received, opened and
tabulated according to law, and the following
bids were received complying with the advert-
isement:
Ranger Constructors, Inc.
Rice Lake Contracting
Orfei Contracting, Inc.
Bonine Excavating, Inc.
S. M. Hentges & Sons, Inc.
Kenko, Inc.
Albrecht Excavating
Landwehr Heavy Moving
Northdale Construction
Lake Area Utility
Frattalone Excavating

AND WHEREAS, it appears that Ranger Constructors, Inc. of
Eveleth, Minnesota is the lowest responsible bidder,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF LINO
LAKES, MINNESOTA:
1. The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized and directed
to enter into the attached contract with Ranger Con-
structors of Eveleth, Minnesota in the name of the City
of Lino Lakes for the installation of trunk water mains
according to the plans and specifications therefor
approved by the City Council and on file in the office
of the City Clerk.
2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to re-
turn forthwith to all bidders the deposits made with
their bids, except that the deposits of the successful
bidder and the next lowest bidder shall be retained
until a contract has been signed.

September, 1987.
