HomeMy WebLinkAbout1987-056 Council Resolution• • • • CITY OF LINO LAKES RESOLUTION NO. 56 - 87 RESOLUTION RATIFYING ACTIONS TAKEN WITH RESPECT TO CERTAIN PUBLIC IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS IN THE CITY OF LINO LAKES. BE IT RESOLVED By the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes, Anoka County, Minnesota (City) as follows: 1. It is hereby determined that: (a) the following assessable public improvements (the Improvements) will be financed through the iss- uance and sale of the City's $1,650,000 General Obligation Temporary Improvement Bonds, Series 1987A, pursuant to the provisions of Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 429 (Act) and the City's home rule charter (Charter): Improvements 1) South Reshanau Lake Estates (Uhde) 2) D. Erickson's 2nd Addition 3) Trunk Water Improvements 4) 4th Avenue Improvements 5) North Road 6) Deer Pass Trail (b) that certain actions have been taken by the City with respect to ordering the Improvements in substantial accordance with the Charter. (c) that the City has been advised by bond counsel that a second public hearing on the Improvements must be held prior to the delivery of the Bonds. (d) that a public hearing after duly pub- lished notice in accordance with the charter was held on September 28, 1987, with respect to the Improvements. 2. The City Council hereby affirms and ratifies all act- ions taken with respect to the Improvements and hereby orders and re- orders the Improvements. The motion for adoption of the foregoing resolution was presented by Council Member Bisel who moved its adoption, the reading of which had been dispensed with by unanimous consent. The motion was duly seconded by Council Member Bohjanen and upon vote being taken thereon the following • • • members voted in favor of the motion: Bisel, Bohjanen, Reinert and the following voted against the motion: none whereupon the resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
