HomeMy WebLinkAbout1987-071 Council Resolution• • • CITY OF LINO LAKES RESOLUTION NO. 71 - 87 RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE 1988 ANNUAL OPERATING BUDGET FOR THE CITY OF LINO LAKES. WHEREAS, Pursuant to Charter authorization, Section 7.06, the Lino Lakes City Council is required to adopt a resolution set- ting out all anticipated revenues and expenditures for the upcoming fiscal year. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the following operating budget be adopted for 1988: 1988 BUDGET RECEIPTS: Levy $1,146,850 MSA Roads 13,900 State Aid 232,117 City Services 175,000 Police Receipts 153,000 Refund and Reimbursements 10,000 Federal Revenue Sharing -0- Escrows 6,000 Reimbursements from White Bear Township (Planner) 20,500 Circle Pines Gas Franchise 12,000 TOTAL RECEIPTS $1,769,367 EXPENDITURES: Mayor and Council $ 25,500 Elections and Election Judges 8,100 Administration 182,005 Assessor 16,000 Legal Printing 2,600 Consultants 132,050 Planning Department 41,825 Planning and Zoning Board 2,390 Government Buildings 83,400 Charter Commission 200 Police Department 432,577 Fire Department 138,270 Building Inspections 49,875 Civil Defense 14,910 Animal Control 4,625 Public Works Department 420,000 Weed Inspections 275 Park Department 122,584 Park Board Members 2,250 • 1988 ANNUAL OPERATING BUDGET RESOLUTION NO. 71 - 87 Cable TV Tree Inspector Others: Reserve for Salary Adjustment Reserve for Certificate of Indebtedness Addition to Surplus TOTAL EXPENDITURES BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: $ 200 5,350 30,000 48,000 5,381 $1,769,367 That the City Administrator has the authority to gather funding to include the Addition to Surplus of $5,381 for the purchase of a third squad car in the amount of $11,500 for 1988.
