AUTHORIZING LINO LAKES CITY STAFF TO UTILIZE 1988 SOLID WASTE
ABATEMENT FUNDS FOR PLANNING PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, The City of Lino Lakes is required to impliment a waste
abatement program and
WHEREAS, The Lino Lakes City Council requests that a study be con-
ducted to establish; the goals and objectives of the program, a
step by step initiation plan, and a schedule for activation for
each procedure of the Solid Waste Abatement Work Plan.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF LINO LAKES:
1. That the 1988 Solid Waste Abatement Funds for Lino Lakes be
used for the establishment of a Solid Waste Abatement Plan
outlining an initiation plan, goals and objectives, and a
schedule for activating each procedure of the plan.
2. That this plan be drafted so as to coincide with the Anoka
County Solid Waste Abatement Plan.
3. That Anoka County shall assist local staff in the preparation
and consistancy of this plan.
Passed by the City Council the 11th day of January, 1988.
