RESOLUTION NO. 04-22
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PREPARATION OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR
THE 2004 WEARING COURSE.
WHEREAS, it is proposed to place a final layer of bituminous in developments where the
majority of Tots have been built on;
WHEREAS, it is proposed to finance the project using assessments from the respective
subdivisions.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF. THE CITY OF LINO
LAKES, MINNESOTA
1 The City Engineer is designated as the engineer for this improvement and he is directed to
prepare plans and specifications for the 2004 Wearing Course.
Adopted by the Lino Lakes City Council this 9t day of February, 2004.

BACKGROUND:
The City undertakes a paving project each year to place the final layer of
bituminous, known as the wearing course, in those developments where the
majority of the lots have been built on The funding for this work is provided by
assessments to the respective subdivisions. The estimated total project cost is
$78,000.00. The subdivisions receiving wearing course this year include the final
portion of Clearwater Creek 3rd Addition and Clearwater Creek 5th Addition.
The schedule for this project is as follows:

Construction Begins

OPTIONS:
1 Return to staff for further review.
2. Adopt Resolution Number 04 -22, authorizing the preparation of plans and
specifications for the 2004 Wearing Course Project.
3. Not adopt Resolution Number 04 -22:
RECOMMENDATION:
Option No 2 Staff recommends that Resolution Number 04 -22 be adopted.
