Home My WebLink About2004-122 Council Resolution• • CITY OF LINO LAKES RESOLUTION NO. 04 -122 RESOLUTION APPROVING THE FINAL PLAT FOR MARSHAN ESTATES WHEREAS, a request has been submitted to the City for the approval of a final plat, and WHEREAS, review and approvals of plats are governed by state statutes and City ordinances, and WHEREAS, the preliminary plat for Marshan Estates was approved with Resolution 04 -32 by the City Council on March 8, 2004, with conditions, and WHEREAS, the final plat for Marshan Estates complies with City requirements and the conditions of Resolution 04 -32 have been satisfied. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes hereby approves the final plat for Marshan Estates. Beteso , Mayor • • STAFF ORIGINATOR: CITY COUNCIL MEETING DATE: AGENDA ITEM 6D Michael Grochala August 23, 2004 TOPIC: Consideration of Resolution No. 04 -122 Approving Final Plat: Marshan Estates BACKGROUND Marshan Estates is a 5 lot residential subdivision located adjacent to the existing Marshan Lane. The project also includes six outlots which are intended to be deeded to adjacent property owners to correct ambiguities in existing property descriptions. The City Council approved the preliminary plat 04 -32 on March 8, 2004. On July 26th, 2004 the City Council approved the development agreement for the subdivision and ordered the extension of sanitary sewer and water infrastructure to service the development. The final plat conforms to the approved preliminary plat. The title commitment for the property has been forwarded to the City Attorney for review. As required under the conditions of preliminary plat approval the developer has provided a 10 foot pedestrian /bicycle easement along Lot 1, Block 1, adjacent to Lake Drive as well as a 20 foot conservation easement adjacent to County Ditch No. 10. All park dedication, securities and fees have been submitted. All other conditions of approval will be met with building permit review of the new houses. OPTIONS 1.
