CITY OF LINO LAKES
RESOLUTION NO. 04-123
APPROVING ISSUANCE OF NEW ON -SALE LIQUOR LICENSE
AND SUNDAY LIQUOR LICENSE FOR NEW STEAKHOUSE RESTAURANT,
"RED OAK STEAKS & WINE"
566 LILAC STREET
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes met at its regularly scheduled
meeting on August 23, 2004, and;
WHEREAS, the Lino Lakes City Council discussed approval of a new on -sale liquor
license, including a Sunday license for Red Oak Steaks & Wine, to be located at 566
Lilac Street, and;
WHEREAS, the Police Department of the City of Lino Lakes has conducted an
investigation of the applicants, and;
• WHEREAS, the owners of Red Oak Steaks & Wine are in compliance with City City
Code Section 701 Concerning Liquor Licensing, and qualify for such licenses and;
WHEREAS, the application is subject to providing proof of insurance as required and
payment of all associated fees;

NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Lino
Lakes hereby approves the new on -sale liquor license and Sunday liquor license for Red
Oak Steaks & Wine subject to all the fees, provisions and conditions of the laws of the
city, state and of the federal government.

Consider Adoption of Resolution No. 04 -123,
Authorizing New On -Sale Liquor License and
Sunday Liquor License for "Red Oak Steaks &
Wine," 566 Lilac Street, Tom and Lynne
Wilzbacher

An application has been received from Tom and Lynne Wilzbacher, d/b /a "Red Oak
Steaks & Wine, Inc." for a new on -sale liquor license and Sunday liquor license for the
purpose of opening a new steakhouse restaurant located at 566 Lilac Street.
Staff met with applicants in July, and at that time they indicated it was their intention to
open an establishment that specializes in Angus steaks and is open in the evenings. They
would like to open the restaurant within several weeks.
The Lino Lakes Police Department recently conducted a background investigation
relative to this application as required and found no information on the applicants which
would give a reason for denial of the application
The applicant is fully aware license approval is subject to all the provisions and
conditions of the laws of the city, state and of the federal government.
OPTIONS:
1. Approve Resolution No. 04 -123 Authorizing Issuance of a new On -Sale Liquor
License and a Sunday Liquor License for a new steakhouse, Red Oak Steaks &
Wine, 566 Lilac Street, as recommended by Staff.
2. Deny Resolution No. 04 -123.
3. Return to staff for further consideration.
