A special meeting of the Lino Lakes City Council was called
to order by Mayor Benson, Wednesday, July 5, 1989 at 7:30
A.M. Council Members present: Neal, Bohjanen, Bisel.
Council Members absent: Reinert. City Clerk, Marilyn
Anderson was also present.
Mayor Benson explained that the purpose of the Special
Council Meeting was to review the action taken at the June
26, 1989 Council meeting regarding Resolution No. 41 - 89.
Mrs. Anderson explained that through a misunderstanding with
the Quad Press, the publication of Resolution No. 41 - 89
could not be made in a timely manner as prescribed by the
City Charter. She asked the Council to consider rescinding
Resolution No. 41 - 89 and approving Resolution No. 47 - 89.
Mr. Bohjanen moved to approve Resolut -ion No. 46 - 89
rescinding Resolution No. 41 - 89. Mr. Bisel seconded the
motion. Motion carried unanimously. Resolution No. 46 - 89
can be found at the end of these minutes.
Mr. Bisel moved to approve Resolution No. 47 - 89. Mr.
Bohjanen seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously.
Resolution No. 47 - 89 can be found at the end of these
minutes.
Mr. Bisel moved to adjourn at 7:35 A.M.
seconded the motion. Aye.

RESOLUTION NO. 46 - 89
RESOLUTION RESCINDING RESOLUTION NO. 41 - 89, INSTALLATION OF
TRUNK SEWER AND WATER, WEST CENTRAL TRUNK SANITARY SEWER AND
WATERMAIN IMPROVEMENT, PHASE II
WHEREAS: the City Council on June 26, 1989 passed Resolution
No. 41 - 89 receiving report and calling hearing on
installation of trunk sewer and water, West Central
Trunk Sanitary Sewer and Watermain Improvements,
Phase II, and
WHEREAS: Resolution No. 41 - 89 was not published as
required by the Lino Lakes City Charter, and
WHEREAS: it is the desire of the City Council to offer a
choice of one of three proposed routes for the
improvements,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LINO LAKES, MINNESOTA:
1. Resolution No. 41 - 89 is hereby rescinded.
2. The public hearing be rescheduled for Monday, August 14,
1989, 7:30 P.M. as outlined in Resolution No. 47 - 89.
3. The City Clerk be instructed to published Resolution No.
47 - 89 in the Quad Press on July 11th and July 18, 1989
and notify all affected residents.
4. The City Clerk be instructed to send a copy of
Resolution No. 47 - 89 to the property owners before
July 31, 1989 as required by the Lino Lakes City
Charter.
Adopted by the City Council of Lino Lakes this fifth day of
July, 1989.

RESOLUTION NO. 47 - 89
RESOLUTION RECEIVING REPORT AND CALLING HEARING ON IMPROVEMENT -
INSTALLATION OF TRUNK SEWER AND WATER, WEST CENTRAL TRUNK SANITARY
SEWER AND WATERMAIN IMPROVEMENT, PHASE II
WHEREAS: pursuant to a resolution of the Council adopted December
27, 1988, a report has been prepared by the City Engineer
with reference to the installation of trunk sewer and water
mains for one of three alternate routes:
1. Beginning at 4th Avenue and Industrial Boulevard, north
to 77th Street, east on 77th Street to the intersection
of 77th Street and Carole Drive,/or
2. Beginning at 4th Avenue and Industrial Boulevard, north
to 77th Street, east on 77th Street to the intersection
of Lake Drive and 77th Street, then south on Lake Drive
for-approximately 300 feet, or
3. Beginning at 4th Avenue and Industrial Boulevard, east
across property owned by,Feedrite Controls, Inc. and
Glenn Rehbein to tle intersection of Lake Drive and
Lilac Street, thei north on Lake Drive approximately 500
feet,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LINO
LAKES, MINNESOTA:
1.
The Council will consider the installation of such trunk
sewer and water mains in accordance with the report and the
assessment of benefitting property for all or a portion of
the cost of the improvement pursuant to Minnesota Statutes
Chapter 429 and Chapter 8 of the Lino Lakes City Charter at
an estimated total cost of the improvement of $1,214,413.00.
2. A public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement
on the 14th day of August, 1989 in the council chambers of
the city hall at 7:30 P.M. and the Clerk shall give mailed
and published notice of such hearing and improvement as
required by law.
